how it works
Starting from the beginning? We’ll take every step with you as you learn how to make pottery like a pro!
If you’re throwing your pots on a wheel, your pottery will progress through several stages before it’s finished. YOU WILL NEED AT LEAST 3 SESSIONS. The first session is for throwing the pots, the second is for trimming, and the third is when you glaze your pots.
Each session is priced individually! If you know that you have a specific budget or time constraint, we can work with you to get your pots finished while accommodating your preferences. Check out our lesson packages for a discount!
Clay can be a very unpredictable material. We do everything we can to ensure a good outcome with your pots, but we can’t control everything (like mother nature). The goal isn’t to make perfect pots right away, but to learn from our mistakes and come back from failure with the knowledge to carry us farther than before. It’s a journey, and we’re here to guide you!

Group
open studio
Open studio is a time to create independently in a group setting. Share the space with fellow potters, practice your skills, and explore your wildest ideas.
Currently, open studio happens Thursdays 4-7pm and Sundays 10am-12pm. Participants must be age 16+ and have experience. Guidance is not included in the open studio price!
